Mosnid (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is a WhatsApp commerce assistant that helps Algerian merchants automate customer replies, manage orders, and process deliveries via WhatsApp. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and what rights you have over it.
By using Mosnid as a merchant or as an end customer interacting with a Mosnid-powered bot, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy.

3. Data We Collect
3.1 Merchant (Seller) Data
When you register and use Mosnid as a merchant, we collect:
- Business name, shop name, and shop code
- Administrator email address and hashed password
- Product catalog: products, variants, prices, stock levels, and photos
- Shipping rates and delivery carrier configurations
- WhatsApp Business phone number linked to your account
- Account preferences and dashboard settings
3.2 End Customer Data
When your customers interact with your Mosnid-powered bot on WhatsApp, we collect:
- WhatsApp phone number (used as session identifier)
- Messages sent to the bot (text content, voice transcriptions, and images)
- Order information: name, product, quantity, delivery address, wilaya (province)
- Conversation history for the duration of the active session
3.3 Technical Data
- Server access logs (IP addresses, timestamps, HTTP request metadata)
- Bot session identifiers and webhook delivery receipts
4. How We Use Your Data
We use the data we collect to:
- Operate and deliver the Mosnid bot service on WhatsApp
- Process and route orders placed via the bot
- Generate delivery slips for Algerian carriers (Yalidine, Maystro, DHD, Colivraison, ZR Express, Noest, etc.)
- Provide merchants with a dashboard to manage their catalog, orders, and customers
- Improve AI response quality using anonymized conversation samples
- Send service notifications (new order alerts, low stock warnings, daily summaries)
- Comply with applicable legal obligations
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data to third parties.
5. Third-Party Services
To operate Mosnid, we share data with the following service providers:

- All communications between the bot and our servers use TLS encryption
- Database access is restricted to authorized systems and personnel only
- Production system access is limited to the core development team
No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take all reasonable steps to protect your information.
9. Children’s Privacy
Mosnid is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe that a minor has provided us with their data, please contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. We will notify merchants of material changes via email or a dashboard notification. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent revision.
Continued use of Mosnid after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
